Jon Delpho comes from a musical family singing all his life and even competing in All-state choir competition in High School. He has been a musician since the tender age of 12.
Jon started on guitar but finally discovered the bass and that has been his main instrument since he was 16. He started playing professionally at the age of 18. A multi-genre bassist, early in his career he founded multiple bands ranging from punk (TWA), Reggae, Roots rock/Americana (The Raindogs, The Haskels), Rock and Country (Rick Reyna) among others.
A staple of the Texas music scene, Jon has shared the stage with many notable artists such as Mark Chestnut, Johnny Lee, Kevin Fowler, Josh Abbott, Mickey and the Motorcars, Doug Stone, Doug Supernaw, Michael Martin Murphy, Chad Cook Band, and has performed with numerous local and regional bands. Highly in demand, he stays busy.
An active live and session player, Jon performs between 150 to 200 dates every year and has recorded on several projects. Currently having 2 singles on Texas radio with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Mark Winston Kirk, he has recently finished a promising project for a new and upcoming artist.
